Yet another AWESOME weekend @ The FARM

Here we go again, more kudos, more heartfelt thanks, more beer bills. Seriously, there has GOT to be a downside to this sport that I haven't figured out yet (other than that obvious one involving the ground). Even defying death shouldn't be this much fun.

Let the list commence:
* To Hans- for still generally being the f***in' MAN. Common knowledge of course, but it bears repeating.
* To Greg- for rockin' the mic like no dropzone MC I've ever seen, and that's coming from a seasoned professional. (BTW: Is there any such damn thing as a dropzone MC?!)
* To Shrek- for driving me up and back and for only letting me do one pack job for him before he decided I owed him $$$ and he wasn't going to pay me.

(Aside: In all seriousness, he will make a WONDERFUL husband for Brandy. I mean, what the F*** kind of heterosexual male literally runs away from the chance to KY wrestle with two nubile, scantily clad girls on a slip & slide?!! Seriously Yo! What's WRONG with that DUDE?! That's gotta be safe marriage material!)

* To Schimmel- no need to thank me for helping you out in that wrestling match. It was the
least I could do. Can't wait to see where that video shows up.
* To Crazy Papa Uncle Whitley- for being the best combination Papa/Uncle any boy ever had (this side of Alabama anyway), and to Pamcakes, Stephen, and Mickey for letting me crash in the RV and keeping my beer cold.
* To all of my new Brothers, and my beloved Mamas- for so warmly welcoming me into the family on top of that big, cold, wet (I still don't want to know why it was wet) tub. That video I will no doubt see plastered on the giant screen at AJs Sports Bar sooner or later.
* To Brandy- for loaning me her rig because she knew I would guard it with my life ( heh heh ..almost)
* To the Other Greg- for taking on powerlines, barbed wire, giant piles of cowsh*t and a big ass tree to help us get the canopy back
* To whomever found the free bag
* To Benji, my Cutaway Brother whose cutaway made mine look totally p*ssy by comparison (have him show you the video some time) - for the gashes on my shins and the mud on my favorite cowboy shirt. Put a headlight on that mini bike before some idiot like me kills himself!
* To Everyone- for letting me do my Mariachi routine down by the fire. It's nice to be able to entertain people by doing something other than biffing my white suit.
(Any requests should be made now so I can learn them by the next time.)

* And lest ye think I've forgotten, to the Lovely Mariposa- for the most exciting pack job I've ever had.
It's a good Mama who knows how to teach her babies the really scary lessons in life. (Could it have been body position? Maybe. But I'll never admit it.)

If there's anyone I've forgotten, I'm sure the ogre will be on soon to remind me.

I just wanted to personally thank Hans for letting me swoop the tandems. Unfortunatley I can't do that at my drop zone.

Congrats to Lobbie for his first cutaway...but I must say it did look like a pu**y cutaway compared to Ben's.

You can't beat the farm, its how skydiving should be.

Thanks again everyone for an awesome week-end. Great jumping with Whitley again. I can't believe how many tandems you made. Next boogie i have 6 tandems coming from alabama to jump. Its friends of mine coming down for the wedding. Thanks Greg for letting me use the bunkhouse(your house.lol) Everyone up there is awesome. If your serious about flying down and picking all of us that will be awesome. we will be there every month probably more. Its definately worth the drive for us. For me i have to say. Saturday night was the best.....All the blue,green long people also..

How funny is it that I (Lee's Fiance) was at his bachelor party, what a great time! I would have love to have jumped, BUT my rig was the community rig for the weekend..........oh well I am just glad everything was found and everyone was ok!..........

It will be a good boogie dude with the super otter and that. There's quite a few from the farm staying at my place, your more than welcome to crash here. If not i'll see ya in October. Roaming DZ is also doing beach jumps in Destin last week-end in September which we are all going down for. I think the plan is jump all day Saturday then do a fishing trip sunday. Maybe we should try Maguires again???????????????????????
