I hear ya, just got to work 40 minutes ago and am here till 1230am. My only hope is that I can find a poker game after work.

That'd work.... working 12 hour shifts 7 days a week just wears on me after a while.... especially when I've already watched all my DVD's and there's nothing worth a shit on AFN....

12 hour shifts, ouch. When the SBC techs went on strike earlier in the year they put us on 12 hours. Thankfully the strike only lasted 4 days but working 8pm-8am was a bummer. The check at the end was really nice though.

Poker went great last night. Played maybe 10-15 hands in a home game and about tripled my $10 buy in. Reminded me of a line from the movie Rounders.

LOL thats poker. Enough to make you go crazy sometimes. I just picked up Caro's Book of Poker Tells and its awesome so far. Almost set up like a study guide and has pictures of tells and describes the pshycology and body language of why people are doing what they're doing.

And my KEM cards are on their way. These cards are the bomb!

Maybe that's my problem...my "tells" are too obvious!

I've had the plastic cards before, but they weren't THAT damn much!! Used to play a game called "Hands and Feet" with them...

I thought the price was crazy too until I played w/ a deck of them. They're not your typical Bicycle or Bee cards. Its hard to justify $24 for 2 decks of cards but it was payday.

Is hands and feet a drinking game or something?

I know.... not the normal plastic coated paper cards, but acetate plastic cards...

Hands and feet is a game based on canasta... can be a lot of fun, especially penny/point... hehehe

Seems like those cards would be hard to shuffle. Do they get broken in like the others?

No, they kinda come broken in already. Sounds weird but they're very flexible and aren't hard to shuffle after you get used to them. They're slippery.
