AggieDave 6 #2 September 16, 2004 And the fence still stands with little damage. That's a hell of a fence! Remember, safety first, so when operating the chain saw besure to be wearint cut-offs, no shirt, a John Deer hat, work boots and you better have had atleast 3 beers while trying to get the damned thing to start. Ok, seriously. Good luck with that, I'm glad that it doesn't seem to be more damage (since you didn't mention any).--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." freeflir29 0 #17 September 18, 2004 Was wondering how you fared during the storm. I saw the guy that owns that "Ship" looking casino in on CNN discussing how much damage it sustained. I thought...Wow...that's right near the Porn store where I bought "The Sheep!"
peacefuljeffrey 0 #18 September 18, 2004 QuoteI can't count on both hands and both feet the number of people I brought to the hospital with chainsaw injuries after Charley and Frances. BE CAREFUL! The business section of my newspaper showed a guy standing high on the tilted trunk of a tree using a chainsaw, with not even goggles for eye protection. (edit: they said he worked for a tree cutting company!) If you ask me, people like that are begging for an injury and deserve it. Too bad they're not the only ones who suffer when they fuck themselves up because of such stupidity. You get fathers out of work and their kids and wives do without, etc. If I hired a tree service to remove debris from my yard, and saw them without safety equipment on (goggles at the very least) I'd fire them on the spot, and tell them exactly why.
