TitaniumLegs 8 #189 January 6, 2004 QuoteHey Peter, weren't you on the 4th of July demo that landed in the water, just south of Santa Cruz? Remember -- Jess and Shoobi were 'spotting'. Or were you one of the lucky few that landed on the beach??! It was actually October for the SC County Fireworks thing, 2-3 weeks before the AFF course. Jess spotted and asked Schoobi what he thought. Schoobi hardly even looked and just climbed out after Dana left on his board. Jess knew they were screwed and took it around. I was on the six-way with video (Mikey Clements) first out on the second pass. On the video, you can see the rescue boat zipping around to get people - this is seen from freefall! I made the beach with room to spare. 7 others, including Schoobi went swimming. 5 CYPRESes and Chris deBar's Sabre were destroyed. Gotta go - dinner's ready! (>o|-< If you don't believe me, ask me.
