:DWhy funny looking Goggles?:D:D

-And the goggles are prolly worth more than prescription eyeglasses or contacts...:P

-Prolly most of our rigs are worth more than the cars we drive to the DZ in... I know that's true for me for my lil' Escort when I drive that...;):S

-You see plenty o' skyjumpers with...um...bright red eyes on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Seems there's a propensity for grazing in a field of happy grass now and then. One commonality I don't fit thankfully. B|

HOLY SHIT!!! I JUST FIGURED IT OUT!! I HAD AN EPIPHANY!!!

I've always liked butterflies, but now I'm even more fascinated with them. :)

-Oh, and sore necks. I see skyjumpers rubbing their necks all the time. Honestly, I think it's from looking up all the time for clouds...planes...watching your main (or reserve :o) open...watching other skyjumpers....:P;) -and yeah I guess those openings could have somethin' to do with it now and then. Yeah, mostly white, male, protestant, professionals with larger than average incomes. Those kinds of hippies.

Yup, I love stereotyping threads.

WTF?? >:( Is it absolutely necessary to turn everything fun into a political debate? This is the Bonfire, not Speaker's Corner, and this thread was started for fun. If you're not having fun, get out.

One thing we all have in common I think? When we see a beautiful sunset we all instantly want to be in a plane with our gear and 14.5k to play in!!

edit: also i envy birds even more now, probly the luckiest creature on the planet.

which includes a more relaxed and open mind and allows for personal reward.

Now I just keep my mind open and keep my mouth shut.

He he heee....

I think skyjumpers look out of the windows more on high rise buildings and glass elevators...maybe even mutter a quiet "FLARE!!!" as the glass elevator descends through the 2nd floor...

Oh HELL no! I'll leave the insanity to the single people...:D

Edited to add: Unless of course the building is falling down. If the building is crumbling, and it's higher than like 11 floors, than WTF? Might as well become a BASE jumper...:P;) -Less than 11 floors...I might just Spiderman down the side. B|

I not sure if everyone does this but 3 of the 6 of us here at work are all jumpers and a plane can't fly by without us looking up and saying ....Yeah I'd jump from that altitude (we have a small local airport in provo lots of cessna's flying all the time) Or the ever popular DOOOR! as it fly's over our property:ph34r:

Even if most of us have a budget and aren’t rich. We are all willing to share what we have. That’s beautiful.

Easily distracted by shiny things particularly on a Saturday night (or some of us red things)

We like to wear colors not generally found in the general population.

We spend $20x?? for jump tickets and nothing on lodging.
