Dag 0 #1 December 7, 2009 I just bought a Impuls Competition 105. It´s the same canopy as the Competition Cobalt 105. Does anyone here know the pack volume of this canopy? Need to know as I´m ordering a new rigg. I´ve been told it will pack the same as a 9-cell PD canopy of the same size. Is that right? Thanks! / Dag

JanuszPS 0 #3 December 11, 2009 Couple of years back I found that on one Italian website and saved in *pdf* format. Hope it's about right. At the moment I don't know if the website even exists. Janusz PS Inform me please how your Impulse Comp flies as after my lovely Cob 120 I'd love to go to Cob Comp 105 or some another from Atair Cobalt family (clone). Edit: It is not for Comp version but it shouldn't vary too muchBack to Poland... back home.
JanuszPS 0 #4 December 11, 2009 In relation to the Impulse chart which I attached above I'm not sure how reliable information is that as there is a lot of confusion going around in relation to packing volume of all canopies - at least I'm confused. From some xls file some time downloaded from this forum I found that: Cobalt 120 has 345 cuin while from the above chart Impulse 120 has 300 cuin. good luck JanuszBack to Poland... back home. I don't know what material my Comp Cobalt is, but it's definitely thicker than PD material."If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. JanuszPS 0 #6 December 12, 2009 It's always been Gelvenor for all of them (Cobalt incl Comp, Impulse, Viper, Alpha, Space). That's the reason why I'd love to stick with Cobalts or optionally give a try to ZPX (Gelvenor again but the new generation). Janusz PS. It's a pity that Radical's aren't made of Gelvenor (new or old)Back to Poland... back home.
gearless_chris 1 #7 December 12, 2009 I thought the material manufacturer quit making Gelvenor a few years ago, and the canopy manufacturers had to switch materials."If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane.
