white_falcon 0 #3 August 31, 2004 I wish more people thought your way. As an agent here in FLA, I constantly get accused of bein a crook, and takin advantage of people. I will be the first one to admit tho, that insurance is just leagalized gambling. lol Scott

beowulf 1 #5 August 31, 2004 I hate to say it but Florida's No Fault insurance is a crock of shit if you ask me. From what I was told while living in Florida was that both parties in an accident are responsible to a certain degree no matter how the accident occured. That sounded like shit to me. Maybe you could explain it better.

Evelyn 0 #10 September 1, 2004 Glad you are okay. Sucks though to have to pay so much for insurance. Seems like whenever I've gotten into accidents, not my fault the other people had no insurance. Don't know how common this is but it pisses me off since I'm paying so much for insurance. I even had an accident where the guy rear ended me, had no insurance, and the cop wrote him a ticket for no insurance then let him get in his car and drive off. white_falcon 0 #11 September 1, 2004 the state of FL's no fault law was DESIGNED to reduce lawsuits by making YOU responsible for the first $10k worth of YOUR injuries. Unfortunately, the trial lawyers have found MANY ways around the law and have bastardized the entire system. It needs to be fixed but, hey, lets face it, the lawyers make the laws, and they are not about to take $$$ from there own pockets. But hey, what do I know, I just sell this stuff for a livin. (bitter?? Im not bitter) LOL Scott
