At the end of one of my final nights, in my fuzzy, drunken haze, I thought that I had lost my backpack by leaving it on the floor of a friend's golf cart. It contained all my money, IDs, meds, etc. I was freaking out because I didn't know where his tent and golf cart were parked, but Melissa came to the rescue! We drove around for about 2 hours all over every campsite...me limping out into the mud, peering into every green golf cart w/ hood that we could find! Finally, as the sun is rising, and my brain cells are beginning to finally become active once again & melt off the alcohol...ironically, also as we finished covering the grounds...I suddenly realized something. ~ "Oh! She kept curling up tighter & tighter with me under the blanket, and her head kept getting lower and lower. I was pressed against her tightly because I was also freezing, until she suddenly sat up. Prior to heading out the the undisclosed location where the staffers were finally relaxing Sunday night, Chile Rellano Rodriguez and the newly incarnated J'Mo Fantastico (armed with a bottle of lighter fluid) took Chile's truck (read: Semi with a flatbed) around and gathered most of the remaining couches. Driving away from the entertainment tent and peering into the rearview mirror, I could see flames over the top of the tent. Got to Skydive with Flyangel2 (a two kiss pass!)...did an awesome three way with my good buddy Steve and Daniel (Golden Knight...how cool is that?)...became a Rodriguez Brother (great seeing the gang from Chester again!) got to jump the PAC750 (OK so the hop and pop wasn't that great...but I survived!)...got to meet many dropzone.comers....and best of all got to see the excitement and joy of the former WUFFO's as they walked back into the Tandem tent after their first Skydive!
