CanuckInUSA 0 #3 August 20, 2004 There is a very good chance that I will be there for the boogie jumping from airplanes as well as from the cliffs. Oh and the DZO (Clint) is an awesome dude willing to bend over backwards to make his clients happy. CanuckInUSA 0 #9 August 20, 2004 Quoteif anyone ever goes to the bridge let me know ilive only about 2 hours away from it i'd love to come watch some jumps. I was thinking of going to the Perrine this weekend. But it looks like next weekend is more likely than this weekend with some people I may travel up there with (you know at least one of these people Wingi). But the Labor Day weekend is likely the weekend to be at the bridge. As for the beauty of jumping in Moab, I will try and post a picture tomorrow (assuming I remember). I've yet to jump into Mineral Bottom. But if I'm not mistaken, this is the canyon where Clint will be dropping people into during the boogie instead of the normal airport LZ. Plus there should also be some BASE jumping as well into Mineral Bottom at the same time the skydivers fly over it with their canopies. flyangel2 2 #11 August 20, 2004 Go, you will love it. Take your climbing stuff and bike. There is so much to see and do there.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
CanuckInUSA 0 #12 August 20, 2004 Quotewich day you think would be best Likely Saturday (as I'm sure people will be sleeping in Sunday from the partying the night before). But a lot will depend on the weather. There was a lot of people there during the Memorial Day long weekend and if I'm not mistaken a lot of people were talking of a return trip over the Labor Day long weekend. Oh and I'm about 90% certain that myself and a bunch of CO peeps will be at the Moab boogie.

CanuckInUSA 0 #17 August 20, 2004 QuoteAs for the beauty of jumping in Moab, I will try and post a picture tomorrow (assuming I remember). I'm sure on one of my mini DV tapes I have some aerial shots of Moab from when I jumped there last January. But I haven't found it yet. But here is a picture of myself landing at Moab's airport and you can see from the background that there is some really neat rock formations in the area.
