slim_shady 1 #1 January 14, 2010 Hey hey, does anyone know if you can fit a Storm 150 in a Wings W5 container? It has a Smart 120 reserve in it.... On the website of Wings they say its made for a 120-135 sqft canopy. I already have the Storm and i need another rig... and did i mention that it is a nearly a new Storm (+-20 jumps)
ryanl2006 0 #2 January 15, 2010 I jump a W-5 with an Optimum 126 and a Sabre 2 135 in it. The 135 is pretty tight but doable. I know the storm packs smaller then an equivalent 9 cell, but I imagine it would still be pretty tight being one size bigger and all. I would call Sunrise and ask them. ubald 0 #3 February 7, 2010 Are you sure about W-5 that fits 135 ? http://www.garlyn.co.nz/wings/Wingsizingchart2.html I have W-7 with reserve 135 and main spectre 135 with around 300 jumps...and it fit tight :)
ryanl2006 0 #4 February 8, 2010 I am looking at a W-5 with a Sabre 2 135 in it sitting in my bedroom right now. Yes it packs a bit tight, but not tight enough to worry me. That sizing chart you linked is not 'official' so all the numbers are not correct.
justme12001 0 #5 February 9, 2010 try a psycho pack, it tends to be a little smaller than a pro pack, cause you get all the air out. so if sabre 135 fits and the storm is already supposed to pack smaller and then you psycho pack it it should fit. Good luck
