Things like helmet stickers, key chains, pull up cords and the like. Have fun...stay safe. X's and O's B2
skybill 22 #6 August 4, 2004 Hi 2k, If there is somebody around that you absolutely detest, take the laces from their sneakers!!!! They make great pullup cords!!!!! Nah, that's not nice. When you get to WFFC, look around for someone that's using an old round canopy for a shade/tent. Ask for a couple of pieces of the suspension lines. If it's Mil-C-5040 T/III, 550# line, cut a piece, gut it and bingo, you got pull-ups, closing loops and more!!!!SCR-2034, SCS-680 III%, Deli-out

The pull ups that most people use, I call loop saws They trash your closing loop big time. Dave Fallschirmsport Marl
pringles 0 #8 August 4, 2004 When you get to Rantoul and sign in they give you a bag of goodies. There should be a couple of cords in there. Matt Davies

towerrat 0 #10 August 4, 2004 buy a power tool... much easier to use than a regular pull up chord. For the price of a jump ticket you can save yourself a lot of work. just my 47 cents...Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!
freeflir29 0 #11 August 4, 2004 Hmmm......Buy pull up cords? In my 4+ years in the sport I have NEVER done any such thing. Rubber bands either.
snugfit 0 #12 August 5, 2004 I'm the guy to contact for printed pullup cords. (The URL Betsy posted is my website). Everyone have a good time in Rantoul. Wish I was going! Custom T-Shirts and Pullup cords
pringles 0 #13 August 12, 2004 I had some pull up cords made to pass out at our wedding. I got them from the web site that bbarnhouse mentioned. My wife wasn't happy when they started getting passed around at the wedding. The way I look at it is, you have to make it up to your friends that spent a great day of jumping at a wedding instead. snugfit 0 #14 August 12, 2004 I remember doing those! They were the only p-cords I've ever printed on both sides. I screwed up and did the whole run with the "I'd rather be skydiving" on the back and then had to reprint half of 'em! Much easier to get through an "O" grommet. Also makes good lanyard for smoke. SparkyMy idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
DrewEckhardt 0 #16 August 12, 2004 Quotebuy a power tool... much easier to use than a regular pull up chord. For the price of a jump ticket you can save yourself a lot of work. just my 47 cents... Had one and scrapped it because it made getting the pin in more difficult than a wide pull-up cord and it took longer to remove. One might save your hands if you work as a packer, although a pull-up cord is fine for under 10 pack jobs a day.
tigra 0 #17 August 12, 2004 Actually, the power tool also saves wear and tear on your closing loop and allows you to shorten the loop and close the container tighter. (At least it did for me.....)
