marcandalysse 0 #4 August 8, 2004 Quote50's these days are the new 40's (so i've been told). huh, I thot its the new 30's! I may be getting older, but I'm still immature! I started skydiving at 50!! On your birthday, here is a nice 'blessing': 'May you stay forever young!'--- bob dylan&neil young "The reason angels can fly is that they take themselves so lightly." --GK Chesterton
Evelyn 0 #5 August 8, 2004 Happy BirthdayWhen I was younger I thought 50 was really old but now that I am 50 it doesn't seem old at all. For me it seems like life began at 50, because when I turned 50 I finally got around to doing things I had always wanted to do (skydiving in particular) and finally had the time and money to do them now that my kids are grown and I have less responsibilites. I'm also in better shape than I was when I was younger since I now have the time to spend 2-3 hours at the gym each day, so I feel great, not old at all. 50 can be a great age! Just have a positive attitude and enjoy!! And throw that shit from AARP in the trash!! Where do they get off sending that crap to 50 year old youngsters! JohnMitchell 16 #6 August 8, 2004 When you're fifty, just waking up is an accomplishment, right? Just remember, you don't quit skydiving because you get old, you get old because you quit skydiving.
