teamhypoxia 0 #1 July 30, 2004 This is my daughter's very first day on the planet, (Sunday the 25th), and this is how it started out. Not five seconds into this life, and this is the way she's treated?! And you should have seen her face when I told her she was going to have to wait 18 years to make her second skydive. (she has 1 in utero)

teamhypoxia 0 #11 July 30, 2004 QuoteAre you gonna call her Abbey or Lynn? Well she has about 15 different nicknames right now, who knows what'll stick. My family seems to like wierd nick names. I still call my 30yr old sister Snookie Fritzer Face. To answer your question more directly, we intend to call her Abby.

flyangel2 2 #15 July 30, 2004 So, Abby was born on Sunday, and I just get a PM on Friday telling me the news? What do you mean you can't find my phone number Jen has it. Besides, I'm not on here all the time. In fact; I'm not even home. I'm being a PW on my friend Renee's lappy. I'll call Jen later today. Congrats, and the fun has just startedMay your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. teamhypoxia 0 #21 July 30, 2004 So on top of her ill treatment, the very first picture she has posted on the web is a little less than flattering. Poor girl. So here's a couple more that come closer to doing her justice. When I bought this digital camera about a year ago, the justification I made for the purchase to my wife was that we would NEED it when we had a family, and if I just happened to strap it on my helmet in the meantime, all the better. Well, at the rate I'm going, it won't take long before the number of baby girl pictures I've taken exceeds the skydiving ones
flyangel2 2 #22 July 30, 2004 If I remember correct, you told Jen you needed that camera for WFFC Now you're just covering your ass taking pictures of Abby. She is a doll. I'll stop by when I get back into town in three weeks. Give Jen a hug from me.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. Dougiefresh 0 #23 July 30, 2004 I don't think she likes the carseat. That picture is priceless! She's thinking, "I am going get you for this!" Although it's good practice for later in life, when she'll be in a skydiving harness all the time, right? RIGHT? Good.Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. --Douglas Adams
