to be more specific :

in order to install/remove the Cypres you need to open the reserve packtray. The reserve itself stays in the freebag.

So in other words if the same rigger who packed your reserve wants to install the AAD mid-repack cycle, it's theoretically possible to do so by just opening the tray, installing the AAD, and then re-closing the pack.
