Remster 30 #6 May 30, 2003 Quotecan you fly an otter on and off it I cant answer that, but in my days up north, I've seen very fully loaded otters take off from scaringly short dirt runways....Remster

quade 4 #8 May 30, 2003 Quotequestion is... can you fly an otter on and off it? Probably not when it's anchored like you'd need for a dz, but definately when it's underway and into the wind.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

jerry81 10 #10 May 30, 2003 And if an Otter can't make it, here's the perfect solution.I've seen this plane land on a runway less than 300' long...and a while later saw it take off from this runway before it reached the half-way point. Of course our pilot is a bit on the insane side, but he sure knows his business.

Clownburner 0 #16 May 30, 2003 That'd be a nice long jump run, without much exit wind to worry about. A few landings on that thing and you'd get a lot more people signing up for accuracy coaching, I bet. 7CP#1 | BTR#2 | Payaso en fuego Rodriguez "I want hot chicks in my boobies!"- McBeth
sfc 1 #17 May 30, 2003 The landings would rock, you could have it sailing with the wind so it would be swoopy weather all the time
kingbunky 3 #18 May 30, 2003 it would probably be the ones that didn't land on it that would be looking for canopy control classes! "Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." MB4252 TDS699 killing threads since 2001
FallingILweenie 0 #19 May 30, 2003 man, i just hope the spots are good!!! also, everyone on every jump would owe beer for landing on the tarmac.
Sebazz1 2 #20 May 30, 2003 I am thinking if it did belong to me I would have to plant a large green fluffy lawn on one end for landing on. Definately will need a pool, and a large stage for live music. We'll need several volunteers to cruise around in zodiacs for those off deck landings... We'll need to build enough bars so that you never have to walk more than 50 feet to get a beer. Planes would be cool but we could also get a couple big big helo's instead making the length of the deck a non issue. Just park that baby off the coast of Honduras... Soak in the rays... I don't know about the color though... Something a little more festive might be in order
jfields 0 #21 May 30, 2003 Quote Definately will need a pool Hello. You are surrounded by a pool. All you need to do is make sure you leave a ladder down so people can climb back in.
jumprunner 0 #22 May 30, 2003 Quote mobile dropzone anyone? check it out! Yall are getting a little overzealous here. So the jump plane takes off and drops you at 13K, where you gonna land, in the ocean??? Yea, right. Good price though, $4,500,000(USD), this might be something that interests Carlos Ledher. Beats hanging out on Norman Cay.
