tunaplanet 0 #1 July 20, 2004 The movie was excellent. Definitly worth checking out. Of course, you can't go wrong with any movie produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Clive Owen (Arthur) and Ioan Gruffudd (Lancelot) were magnificent. Great performances. Keira Knightley was good as well (not to mention fine as hell). This weekend I'm off to see I, Robot and Anchorman. I'm behind on my movie habit addiction. Forty-two
mattjw916 2 #2 July 20, 2004 I know what you mean, I am behind as well... I am going to see I, Robot tonight. I thought King Arthur was pretty good... it would have been better (IMHO) if it was "R" rated and had more gore/sex, after all, that is why we go to the movies, isn't it?!! tunaplanet 0 #3 July 20, 2004 It wasn't "R"? Wasn't paying attention. Yes, more violence would have been good. Tell me how I, Robots is. Looks awesome. Forty-two
Chivo 0 #4 July 21, 2004 Talking about I,Robot... I read the book by Isaac Asimov and also saw the movie. The book is a bunch of short stories, in each one, the importance of the three fundamental laws of robotics is altered, and you see different scenarios. The movie includes parts from other books, also by Asimov, and since I've read a ton of them, the movie didn't surprise me. The movie was very entertaining, lots of special effects, explotions, and robots left and right. All in all, I did enjoy it. I do recomend it. ~Chivo

labrys 0 #6 July 21, 2004 I saw King Arthur a few nights ago. I thought it was really good. One of the things that I liked the most was that it presented one of the alternate views of the legend behind the search for the Holy Grail (San Greal) vs what some historians think might have been the search for Royal Blood (Sang Real) that motivated whatever person is really behind the legend.Owned by Remi #? Squeak 17 #7 July 21, 2004 I saw it a week ago, I wasn't impressed by it. It was OK but I could have easily waited until it hit videoYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing? The fight scenes reminded me of Braveheart, but didn't come off very well. The yarn itself was a nice spin on the old tale.
mattjw916 2 #11 July 21, 2004 I, Robot turned out pretty good... not a masterpiece by any means, but is worth a trip the theater if you want something to do. The movie loved trying to make you afraid of heights... not quite as scary to people who regularly jump out of planes I guess. I give it a thumbs up...NSCR-2376, SCR-15080
usedtajump 1 #12 July 21, 2004 I saw Anchorman about two weeks ago. Kinda dumb in a good way, starts out slow but for about 3/4 of the movie we sat there with tears of laughter running down our cheeks. Don't want to oversell this movie and it may not be everyone's cup of tea but was a good goof for a Sunday afternoon. The older I get the less I care who I piss off. marcandalysse 0 #13 July 21, 2004 Quoteit would have been better (IMHO) if it was "R" rated Evidently, the movie WAS filmed with lots more graphic action, but the studio forced it into a more general rating to attract the summer crowds. The director was already promised a 'directors cut' version for the DVD release.
