PurpleWill 1 #1 July 14, 2004 I landed with a bit of an impact last Saturday. It would not have been bad at all but then I went down on my knees and there was a rock waiting for one of them. The only rock in quite a radius as well. I am starting to get worried because the damn thing seems to be getting more stiff and it pains when I get up after sitting for a while. I think I'll have to go to a doctor for the first time in about 5 years. There is a lot of stuff worth doing but then there is a lot of stuff worth doing instead. chaoskitty 0 #2 July 14, 2004 I'd tough it out, unless its cut and is looking infected, or it gets too bad to walk on. I hate going to the doc. They always leave me in that freezing cold room where there is no comfortable place to sit or lie down and they take too long. If you know an EMT or nurse, ask them to look at it and they can probably tell you if you need to go to the doctor.
PurpleWill 1 #3 July 15, 2004 It's a new day and it doesn't bother me at the moment. I'll put going to the doctor of for another day and eventually it will get better by it self. My girlfriend is a nurse and she hasn't been very sympathetic. I guess that is why I've pitied myself. There is a lot of stuff worth doing but then there is a lot of stuff worth doing instead. Balls 0 #4 July 15, 2004 You could try DMSO. It's a liniment that they put on the joints of race horses. It kills the pain, increases circulation and range of motion and speeds up healing. Lots of athletes (from High School to Pro) use the stuff too. I swear by the stuff. Google it to learn some more (I'm not a doctor or anything, I have used the stuff a lot though), you can buy it at vetrinary places. Its pretty cheap, couple of buck for a bottle.---------------------------------------- ....so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat."
