JustaBill 0 #1 July 12, 2004 ...to Sangiro for hosting this site, and for all the experienced people that post on here. This weekend I found myself having to fly my canopy through some fairly thick "haze". I hadn't really thought much about what to do about it before hand, but remembered reading a thread about it on here. Did some really slow spirals and made some noise like was suggested. When I landed immediately went and found an instructor and asked them about it. They said I did right if I couldn't avoid it in the first place. Just thought I would let you guys know that because of this site in general and that thread in particular it kept me from freaking out and gave me an idea of what I should do in that situation that I wouldn't have thought to ask about normally. Keep up the good work guys, I've found this site to be instrumental in getting me thinking about different situations I may find myself in that at my experience level I wouldn't know to ask about.------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever

wendybird 0 #5 July 12, 2004 Bill, You're kicking some serious butt on a few different levels for the time/experience you have in the sport. Keep your wits about you and keep your head on a swivel and you'll go far! I'll be sure you have some good tunes to listen to along the way ...
