Lainey 0 #27 July 6, 2004 Quoteexactly what I thought... when I use the "when I was younger" thing, I sound like an old fart... haha but what am i meant to say? when i was practically a foetus? my whole life is only 20 years, being 10 was half my life ago, that's long enough to consider using when i was younger right? . . piisfish 140 #28 July 6, 2004 when I was 10... oh man (woman sorry)... the wheel had just been invented yeah OK you got the point. Well I'm kind of too tired (and maybe a bit drunk) to argue for too long... I was at the montreux jazz festival tonight...scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

freeflir29 0 #34 July 6, 2004 I wear one EVERYWHERE but the DZ. When I got my most recent job 1 1/2 years ago I even got rid of the "Makes you stick out like a sore thumb" Commando G-Shock and bought a Kenneth Cole Black Titanium. Nice watch and keeps GREAT time. The glow stuff doesn't work for shit though. If I ever go back to crawling around in the dark woods for a living I'll have to get a new G-Shock. I don't wear a watch at the DZ cause there are only a couple times that matter when I'm there. Sunup, 10 minute calls, and Sunset load.

piisfish 140 #38 July 6, 2004 drank some expensive and not so good white wine, but in large quantities... Hopefully a friend of mine who doesn't drink and was a professionnal chauffeur drove us home. The cool thing is that even sober, he's still fun to hang out with. Gonna go to bed, the damned birds don't have wristwatches either and didn't notice it's still a decent time to try and go sleep (5.20 AM) scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

I actually hade a Major ask me the time once (I'm a 2dLt)... and when I didn't know what time it was he scolded me for not having one... piisfish 140 #41 July 6, 2004 no smoke, no fire tonight, but shitloads of water fallin from the sky... QuoteWe all came out to montreux On the lake geneva shoreline To make records with a mobile We didn’t have much time Frank zappa and the mothers Were at the best place around But some stupid with a flare gun Burned the place to the ground Smoke on the water, fire in the sky They burned down the gambling house It died with an awful sound Funky claude was running in and out Pulling kids out the ground When it all was over We had to find another place But swiss time was running out It seemed that we would lose the race Smoke on the water, fire in the sky We ended up at the grand hotel It was empty cold and bare But with the rolling truck stones thing just outside Making our music there With a few red lights and a few old beds We make a place to sweat No matter what we get out of this I know we’ll never forget Smoke on the water, fire in the skyscissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
Lainey 0 #42 July 6, 2004 Quote So Does Lainey Know her Zepplin ? Zepplin as in Led Zepplin, the group? I'm not the biggest fan, my brother loved them so i kind of grew up hearing Led Zepplin, Van Halen, the Doors, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendirix etc. because of him but generally speaking I don't listen to much of that kind of thing. Are you a fan? . And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need 'Cause you knew you were finally free - Death Cab For Cutie

Guest #46 July 6, 2004 I own a Citizen Navihawk Blue Angel, but since I got laid off, I haven't worn it at all - I even let the battery die.
