VanillaSkyGirl 6 #8 June 23, 2004 QuoteYou know, the two of them were the ugliest damn babies. I guess their looks now are pretty fortunate considering what they had to work with. This is horrible to say, but I also thought that they were not very attractive babies/children. The fact that the have been able to wear deisgner clothing and work with top stylists, make-up artists, hairstylists at a young age, probably had a lot to do with their drastically altered appearances. They always appear to be wearing heaps of make-up, which I have been told can completely alter a person's appearance if so desired. Also, the people that I have seen with anorexia seem to have eyes that are sunken with very dark circles underneath. Mary Kate wears so much make-up that I can't even see the "dark circles" under her eyes. Btw, what I find odd in these twins' current situation is that these girls seem to have the exact same body size, but only Mary Kate is said to have anorexia. Does anyone else find this strange? On the news videos that are shown of the both of them, I can't even tell which one has the problem. Their bodies seem the same to me, but perhaps I do not know enough of them and what they look like to make an accurate observation.

Though I think that anorexia is a horrible condition, I believe that the only reason that Mary-Kate is in a "treatment program" right now is to quiet the rumors of "their" condition. You have to have one pushing the upcoming movie. Heaven forbid, both of them should admit to having a problem and getting help when there is publicity to be had. ~R+R~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Fly the friendly skies...^_^...})ii({...^_~... Not that I know much about them at all, except what is currently being plastered all over the news, but yes, they are fraternal. I never said that their faces are exactly the same, although they do resemble each other very much. Anyway, I was commenting on how their bodies LOOK exactly the same to me. Btw, I have no idea why I am commenting on this thread. I know very little about these girls and am completely baffled by their unexplained popularity amongst pre-teens... Conundrum 1 #12 June 23, 2004 It's Olsen And it doens't suprise me one bit, heard about this the other day and just shook my head. I think it's really sad, and I doubt it's only one of them with the problem.

I know very little about these girls and am completely baffled by their unexplained popularity amongst pre-teens... In between the tv show they were on and now this movie they have out, they were very big in the straight-to-video market. They did dozens of these adventure videos through the years that the kids have been watching and is mainly how they made their millions. My daughter played them over and over when she was little, I still know some of the songs. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
catfishhunter 2 #15 June 23, 2004 QuoteIt's Olsen Thanks for correcting that. Us 'sons hate when we are confused with 'sens' Whats really sad is that people are even wasting their precious time worrying/thinking about someone elses life. It's their shit let them deal with it. I got enough of my own shit to spend time worrying about someone else's....at least today MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT Life is Short and we never know how long we are going to have. We must live life to the fullest EVERY DAY. Everything we do should have a greater purpose.
happythoughts 0 #16 June 23, 2004 QuoteGlad to see they're starting off their adult careers with a great start. Personally, I applaud people who deal with their problems by seeking professional help. If someone on this forum broke their foot, it would be ridiculous to hear people say "Wimp, it's just a broken bone." Emotional pain is just as real and, quite often, more serious. People think of a broken foot as serious, but you rarely die from it. People die from anorexia. I wish that more people in the public spotlight would have the guts to face the media trauma. Maybe young girls would be ok with seeking help for themselves.
benny 0 #17 June 23, 2004 This is horrible news, but now that they're legal, I'd be happy to help the through these trying times and put some meat in, oops, I mean, on their bones. Never go to a DZ strip show.

Exactly Rem, the good thing about girls who look like they're 12 when they're 18 is that they're the most likely to look like they're in their 20s when they're nearing 40. Never go to a DZ strip show.
