kelel01 1 #1 June 22, 2004 And think, "Holy shit! You should NEVER, EVER be allowed to design anything EVER AGAIN." I just had one of those moments, but not on these forums, so don't worry that it's you. I was just wondering if it's just me, or if everyone does that sometimes. cocheese 0 #2 June 22, 2004 Yes i think that. ...And have been told that.once. But after awhile you get used to others suits etc. and it helps when differentiating jumpers in the air from far away.
kelel01 1 #3 June 22, 2004 Yeah, you know, there are some that you look at and you think, "I wouldn't pick that for myself, but whatever". But then there are the ones that you just can't fathom how anyone thought that looked good. I'm going for extremes here. Kelly

skybytch 273 #7 June 22, 2004 Sell gear for a few years. You'll see many examples of people who should not be allowed to handle crayons (or container and/or canopy design programs ).

freeflir29 0 #12 June 22, 2004 This reminds me of a funny moment this weekend. Wrongway and I were standing in front of manifest and discussing one particular persons clothing choice for the day. I guess this guy's Mom wasn't home to dress him that morning. Anyway.......it reminded of something I do at work. I sit in airports all day so you tend to see some FINE examples of people that shouldn't dress themselves. My favorite comment is that the WORST part of the situation is that the poor guy got up this morning, looked in the mirror before going out and said, "Damn.......I look GOOOOD today!." sundevil777 102 #13 June 22, 2004 But your rig isn't anywhere nearly all tye-dye, you had some restraint when you made your decisions. It is when every single part of a rig is tye-dye that it seems schizophrenic. Of course, there are some that I have clearly insulted now, but that is the point of this thread - what causes you to avert your eyes.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. cbowley 0 #18 June 22, 2004 This reminds me of a trip to Deland when Bill Booth mentioned that RW used to have an internal ugly rig of the month competition but it was stopped when the award was accidentally left in with the rig on dispatch and the recipient phoned up to ask what was going on. If only Bill hadn't been looking at my rig when he was reminded of the story.
