I had never heard of this thing from Nike until a friend told me about it. I got my shoes today and they look great. The personalization is an actual threaded monogram. I figured it would be cheesy. It is really cool how many options you have. This shoe thing could get addictive.

Yeah - it's all good and nice - but I can't see spending 6 jumps, 5 packs, and a redbull on a pair of shoes.

The reboks i wear were only about a jump per pair - much more reasonable.

You are correct. They wont put trademarked, registered names on them either.

I got mine for free. We're working on a site for them. We went into a meeting and were offered, "coffee, water, shoes?" I though they were joking and replied, "shoes." They weren't joking. It's for the more skate/snow/bmx culture, so I done got me a free pair of B/W/B URLs, where the black is leather!

There was some other site that let you do custom designed shoes, I think boarders used them or something. Anyone have a link to that one?

My son's ball team had them custom made with team colors and logo's. SWEEEET!!
Any coaches or parents out there I'd highly recommend this stuff!

the original site no longer loads but there is a new site which is different from the previous.

Aw man, I can't believe they are not working anymore... what a bummer. Ed needed a new pair too. Mine are still going
strong. And now I have the jumpsuit to match, it's over the top. The tandem passengers seem to like the shoes though,
I get lots of "cool shoes" comments.

too bad cmax.com is done, i guess i'll have to get nikes if I ever lose or wear these out.
