Brains 2 #53 June 7, 2004 0:12:2 or 3 First #, oh well. Got in some skysurf training jumps this weekend and we need lots of work, nothing a few hundred jumps together won't cure. Got in a freefly jump on Sat with a friend who was tired of the tandem/video thing and wanted to freefly. Best jump ever Launched a flower, flew that, i rotated to sit without dropping the grip, flew that, double spock, flew that, he rolled to sit and we took had docks, flew that, i took a toe dock, flew that, we rolled to hd and picked up the flower again and flew that till breakoff, the whole dive was smooth and relaxed. Of course no video. Firsts: I am ashamed to admit but i stalled a canopy for the first time, had so much fun i did it again and again. Also first time i jumped a canopy that is 100 square feet larger than my own. First time i had someone i look up to compliment my swoop.Lesson for the weekend: Don't swoop a slip-n-slide. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

Kris 0 #59 June 8, 2004 Quotewent to arkansas for a wedding with a hot guy in a tux this weekend. Met up with Kris and drank wayyyyy too much beer, saw some she-males, took Galen to the gallows and went to a real rodeo. :4:0 Yes, we drank wayyyyy too much beer, but it turned out to be just enough. The drag queens in that Fort Smith bar were, ummm, interesting. It was good to see one of my favorite boozehags again and it was good to finally get to meet Galen so we could trade stories about ya.Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
Unstable 9 #60 June 8, 2004 0:0:0 I took the weekend off and did some other things - I've been jumping my butt off lately, so I took this weekend off from Jumping to recharge my batteries - The last thing I want to do is turn skydiving into something unenjoyable...... Edited for spelling And grammer only....=========Shaun ==========
indyz 1 #61 June 8, 2004 0:7:1 It was a fun weekend. Team practice, zoo loads, and a single camera jump. I finally managed to take some halfway decent outside video. Still need to work on getting closer and steeper, but I'm improving steadily.

vdschoor 0 #63 June 8, 2004 :13:1 Thirteen jumps this weekend, this should have been a number in the 40's but sometimes things don't go as planned. Some camera jumps on Saturday and Sunday, combined with fun jumps. Then we got winded out on Sunday and started doing stupid stuff (drunk skydivers with daylight left...) On Monday the original plan was to do 30 hop and pops for Chris Q's 30th birthday but the Byron winds put a stop to that, so we headed out to Lodi for a couple of Beech 99 loads! Girlfalldown 0 #64 June 8, 2004 21:9:1 A 21 moon salute for my Birthday (yes I have video) only 9 jumps due to wind 1st time jumping without goggles and it wasn't too bad. Even though we got winded out, Sunday ROCKED! Thanks everyone for making it so much fun. Thanks to my roommate Thom for leaving a perfectly good dropzone to come to Byron and play with me even if it was on the ground. Thanks JP for the 4 wheeling! Thanks to everyone else just for being there. Too many to list. -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.)
