JustaBill 0 #1 May 17, 2004 I did a search and didn't see it posted. Watched Sportscenter last nite before work and the head down record made #8 on the top 10 plays of the week. They show some really short video of it. Pretty cool. Thought I'd let everyone know so they can check it out this morning.------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever

palstev 2 #3 May 17, 2004 I just saw it, the top ten of the week comes on around :40 minutes after the Hour. And pretty cool too!
skydiver30960 0 #4 May 17, 2004 Well done. Chris B. mentioned that it was a "freefly" record and that it really tore up the old record. I am super-pumped to see skydiving shown in a POSITIVE light on a major network. Too bad it doesn't happen more often. If I see any more bad landings and normal freefall video made to sound like "he's about to die!" on shows like You Gotta See This and Real TV, I'm gonna shoot out my TV. Thanks for the heads-up! I'm glad I caught it... Elvisio "good exposure" Rodriguez

benny 0 #6 May 17, 2004 42-way, largest head-down formation in history, the clip is on skydivingmovies.com Never go to a DZ strip show.
pilotdave 0 #7 May 17, 2004 http://www.skydivingmovies.com/ver2/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=1504 to be exact. Very short clip of skydiving mixed in with the top 9 baseball/hockey moments of the week. Dave
wildcard451 0 #8 May 17, 2004 Yeah, sorry about recording the other top nine, but, even though I am not a basketball fan, I had to get the ending shots of the LA/SA game.....
pilotdave 0 #9 May 17, 2004 Hehe it's nice to have it in context like that anyway. Nice quality too. Thanks for uploading! Dave
benny 0 #10 May 17, 2004 I think it's great to have it in context and at #4 on the list, it's really great to get that kind of media coverage Never go to a DZ strip show.
wildcard451 0 #11 May 17, 2004 In that case, that is exactly how I meant to do it!
dgskydive 0 #12 May 17, 2004 There may be a lot more coming out on ESPN about that record. Alaska John was (or is) about to do an indepth interview with ESPN about the record.Dom
benny 0 #13 May 17, 2004 It's actually kind of disappointing when you think about it though, How can they claim that any of these "plays" of the week even come close to 42 people head down at speeds exceeding 150 mph screaming toward the big green globe? Never go to a DZ strip show.
Hazarrd 1 #14 May 18, 2004 saw it...they had a nice clip of it too. too bad they only played it for a second or 2. .-.
