Vallerina 2 #1 May 10, 2004 Am I the only one that hates 80 degree weather? Did I sleep through spring? I don't think we got one this year. It's over 80 degrees and humid. Yuck. I forgot how much I hate it until it gets here! Am I insane for wishing for a nice 60 degree day? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
stuffit 0 #2 May 10, 2004 Everybody cries when its cold and rainy and then everybody starts crying again when it gets warm. Ultimately, Ill take warm weather anyday over shitty, cold weather. (unless it is like 120 deg)
ChrisL 2 #3 May 10, 2004 Count me in. Summer sucks. Heat sucks. I like Spring and Fall the most. Winter next, and summer least of all. My perfect day is 68 F. degrees . I'll take 45 F and sunny over 90 F and sunny every time.__ My mighty steed

(unless it is like 120 deg) Thank you - and it seems those that live in warmer climates bitch more about it than those in the North do. Val - this is Chicago, we very rarely get a spring. Fall and Spring are short a short one to two week break between summer and winter. The only thing that sucks about this weather is that its on a Monday, I'm stuck inside, and I can't jump and play with those beautiful clouds!_________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... DTOXX 0 #8 May 10, 2004 Jumping in Taft is weird in the middle of the summer. Usually I want the jump to last longer for the joy of it. In the summer is because its too damn hot on the ground. One day phone rang at the dropzone and the guy on the other end asked what the weather was like and that he planned to make a tandem jump with a buddy. I replied as honestly as I could, "Its 80 degrees and the sky is clear". It was 8am! ------- D.T. Holder SIMstudy

Laurel 0 #11 May 10, 2004 I love hot weather and do not like cold weather at all and that's why I live in the South. Lots of heat to keep me warm (I am always cold) and lots of humidity to keep my skin hydrated and pretty. I have no complaints here - I know what to expect every year - it's pretty much the same pattern. ..................................................................... A quick tip for happy living...if you don't like that, stay the hell away from South/Central/East/North Texas for the rest of your life. West TX isn't too bad, its just damn hot, not really any humidity. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
