skydiving in advertising.

Recommended Posts

i've seen quite a few recently, its bizzare...

Some of these aren't exactly advertising, but its skydiving in the mainstream...

Hugo Boss, as we all saw in another post recently - Just shots of guys in rigs/planes and hugo gear...

Cadbury's creme eggs (shot at headcorn) - Tandem, eating a creme egg, part of the 'how do you eat yours' campaign.

US Robotics - all the boxes for their wireless home networking stuff feature a free flyer (as the main picture) one in head down, one in a sit.

Some local estate agents - Saw a flyer with a guy in free fall holding a pair of binoculars, the phrase was 'looking for a new home?'

Job advert for Foxtons - another estate agent, a picture of someone leaving the plane, amongst other pictures. Said they are looking for out going people.

Halls soothers - cough sweet. Aff student stuck in a tree, she tries to call for help, but cant as her throat hurts...

Theres more, but my heads just died... brb people!
Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE
Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies

You know, Wings uses skydivers in their advertising . I took that picture of Q (the guy in the red jumpsuit) that they use on the banner at the top of DZ.com's home page.

If you go here, you can see more of Duece's work.
May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey

Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis, MS had a slot tournament called Extreme Slots and all the advertising had skydivers in head down and freestyle freefall poses. I don't have any pics of it though.

Yeah, I just noticed one in my VERY small local paper for a local bank. It was one of the old rounds with all the slits cut in it (please forgive my lack of knowledge on this). The ad was for some kind of overdraft protection or something like that. It said something like "You wouldn't jump out of a plane without a parachute, why would you...blah blah blah...it's nice to know it's there if you need it."

If you need it?! I know i've always needed my parachute :S or does that not make sense to just me hehe?
