I've been bitching for months that I only had a couple to go, well, I finally got my ass out and did it! Thanks big to Nicki at my DZ. She was infrickincredible, insane fun to jump with and I'm really looking forward to jumping with her and Bodi this summer. Stick a fork in me, my A is done!!! Damn it feels good!!!! Though I didn't do my first "A" jump, I had to get in my car and drive a hundred or so to get to my daughter in time to see her dance in her last competition of the year!!! She was incredible though. She danced better than I have ever saw, and really had me smiling. Also? When I told her what I had just done she just grinned from ear to ear and said "HELL YES DAD!!!!" RELAX!!!!!!!!! peace, Jack Thanks! Beleive it or not, I have felt completely confortable with everything my instructor has told me. In fact I feel just about completely confortable in the air. I have only been slightly nervous while under canopy around 3-4K. Landing is absolutely no problem whatsoever as well as turning and flaring. Any nervousness I have seems to be about the harness and its potential to break. I know that that would be not likely. I'm sure a couple of more jumps will clear that. My favorite part so far is watching the plane go away in the first part of freefall. Then I really like the freefall. That is toooooo cooool. Oh yea and then landing.
