mr2mk1g 10 #4 January 30, 2004 I leave on the 30th (yes 3 weeks in perris !!) so march is ok except that during march there is the BCPA southerns regionals which I expect to be helping to organise and compete in... besides, if its after I've been to perris I'll have another 100+ jumps and be able to film the DZ.com funnel... er, I mean bigway

vt1977 0 #7 January 30, 2004 I’m in California for the first half of April, then probably getting my wisdom teeth out as soon as I get back. So April not good for me, I’m afraid. Make it March, then those people who are not renewing their BPA can come and play! And lets have the boogie at Nethers! Vicki

AudreyRowe 0 #10 January 30, 2004 March????!!!!!! - it will still be winter Could we stretch it to April/May? might be a little warmer? Langar gets my vote - its central for us northeners and will have two caravans and a let this season. The furthest south I have been is weston! Not sure if I will qualify as I rarely post - just lurk
Zeemax 0 #11 January 30, 2004 bigway hybrid i'm going to have a proper look into dates this weekend Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
mr2mk1g 10 #12 January 30, 2004 I vote May We can always use this thread to argue about dates and the other thread to argue about the DZ.

Spike 0 #15 January 30, 2004 I'd say April/May rather than March, because its cold, I'm a wimp and I'll be in Florida, more specifically, in the tunnel.

mr2mk1g 10 #17 January 30, 2004 April last year was lovely - apparently it was some of the best weather the UK had at that time of year. I remember as I was out in california for the first two weeks where the locals were complaning it was the worst weather ever, and back home there was a heatwave. It was the same thing the year before except swap cali for florida April is often good in the UK (we get a kinda early good bit then it comes in crap again till july/aug)
nacmacfeegle 0 #18 January 30, 2004 "Suggestions for DZ's are welcome I'm looking at April time, does this suit people? " Boogie in Texel around then if its too cold for you soft southerners. Langar or Hibble gets my vote but not fussed. mr2mk1g 10 #19 January 30, 2004 Im out of the country till late april... in fact 28 member of my skydiving club will be too as well as arround 20 other uni club members. Many of them are .commers so you may find attendance slips a little if you organise it in the first 2-3 weeks

batbex 0 #24 January 30, 2004 No it doesn't take the piss - and you could have a UK boogie abroad - the UK bit specifying the people there rather than the location - it makes sense and need I mention the two bars edited - cos zeemax's crap spelling is rubbing off on me
nacmacfeegle 0 #25 January 30, 2004 And a pal who has an apartment there......
