Vallerina 2 #1 May 6, 2004 I have had 6 bosses in just over a year and a half with the same company. Can anyone beat that? The only way this works to my advantage is that when asked, "Why do you want to leave your current position?" in interviews, I have a great answer to give! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

skycat 0 #4 May 6, 2004 Lets see 5 years, 3 different companies, 10 different possisions, 11 different bosses. Due to M&As I've never actually gone to a new company so my bridge date is 5 years...can you say 3 weeks of vacation a year.Fly it like you stole it! EricaH 0 #5 May 6, 2004 All 4 of my bosses resigned w/ in a week of eachother. My new "bosses" out of NY, Boston or Dallas (depending on the price of tea in China); do hassel me about my TPS reports... they just call it something in Swahili. Val, I've worked for 5 companies in 6 years & have never changed my desk! But I do think you have a new record. There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear. I'm close - I expect a 5th in the near future, putting me at 5 in 20 months. On top of that, I've been on a 30-60day C2H for about 600 days. Manager #4 no longer acknowledges that I'm anything but a regular contractor. Fortunately, I no longer care that much - I only wanted to be at a company this large for 2 years. We get a new reorg every 4-8 weeks.
