FallingILweenie 0 #28 May 4, 2004 One of the new local commercials that are all over is the Bob Rorman ones with the lions. still, it doesnt measure up to the crappiness of the classic local commercials.

EricaH 0 #30 May 4, 2004 Oops, I guess you just "save more money" @ Menards. I can say, being a transfer to Chicagoland - it is so super frustraiting the way they name the highways & tollroads. On the news in the AM on TV, they say the name & on the screen have the number.... I watch it trying my damdist to learn them. 9.5 yrs here & I've finally learned like 2 of the gazillion - grrrr. Now that I live on the SW side, the people on the train are more friendly. I've made a few new friends on my morning ride; now it's much more difficult to sleep. Oh, one of those friends is the g/f of a guy that's best friends w/ my ex.... they all did a tandem w/ me on my 2nd jump. How cool to bump into her on my new train!!! There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear. PMS #227 (just like the TV show)

EricaH 0 #32 May 4, 2004 wow - good job.... my prob is the fact that I really had to think when you said "the split" I guess I just don't travel enough. plus, when the reporters say, the circle, the hump, the ____, the.... i really don't get it. but I grew up in FL, there are 3 highways & every major other street is numbered & called by that number. guess i destined to be confused. oh, the others are 55, 290 N of the 88 split & 88. I think that's it anyway There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear. PMS #227 (just like the TV show)
DrunkMonkey 0 #33 May 4, 2004 The Split is where 90 and 94 diverge. 90 (Kennedy)goes to O'Hare, while 94 goes toward Milwaukee.

Did you just call me a wuss???????? Shit....I'm gonna drive the Dan Ryan tomorrow just to prove you wrong (actually, it's because there's no way in heck I'll be able to wake up early enough tomorrow to take the train....but I'll pretend I'm driving on it just to prove you wrong.) The Dan Ryan cooperated nicely tonight. It was begging for me.There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
