Zeemax 0 #1 May 3, 2004 Thats right folks... this weekend was the beer UK DZ.com meet up. Sadly the weather was not on our side, but we had some fun anyway There was no jumping saturday because of the shit weather, but sunday was bright blue with a few fluffies An excellent party on the saturday night, with an interesting school disco theme. Alarmingly there was a high number of blokes in dresses, some were even enjoying it. I crashed out early at 3 am after a good helping of cheap beer, but i'm led to beleive it all went on through the night. Of course, i managed to make sure i made my usual amount of dd's... holy christ the phone company must love me.. but sadly most people went to voice mail... either turn your phones on, or update your numbers!! I missed first loads on sunday, but crawled out in time for the third. A cool two way sit with Mor. Second jump was a solo free fly jump where i just anjoyed the view.. nice Unfortunately, heres where it all went a bit pear shaped... They were working a system of pre manifesting so those up early had manifested for lifts throughout the day, then at about miday they decided they couldn't handle this system and just wiped everyone off all manifests By now everyone else had woken up, so it meant long waits to get on a lift. They were running three planes (caravan, turbine islander and a piston islander), but with the buy one get one free on jump tickets the place was pretty damn busy. Two more jumps followed, that i have no desire to talk about, and then the last jump of the day was a cool 3 way hybrid that we actually managed to hold! it was awesome no to mention the extra altitude.. 16 grand baby yeah! although after the second go around some of us were thinking it would be nice for some air.. Woke up this morning to fairly heavy raid, so decided to take my chances and head back to headcorn, where sadly the weather was also shit. It was good to see all the .commers that made it out despite the weather next time, i want to jump with more of you!! I lent my digi cam to my dad last week, which he promptly left in a hotel room (good one dad) so any pics i have are taken on my phone. Zeemax 0 #4 May 4, 2004 i went to bed at 2:30, very drunk and damn tired. Only having 6 hours sleep a week is not enough! I was up at 8 am ready for jumping on the saturday though... Sunday night, yes it was an early midnight bed time, but again, was totally knackerd. Damn this shift is killing me...
