quade 4 #5 May 3, 2004 Quote Artificial Inteligence + Minority Report = I Robot = Uh, slow the f down and back the f up there sci-fi boy! Guess which one was written -first- and by a much better author I might add. I'm not saying that the screenplay is going to be an exact copy of the book, but unless they seriously f it up, it's definately far more original than either of the two movies you've mentioned. BTW, A.I. = Pinocchio. Tuna, where the heck where you when we talked about this last . . . PhreeZone 20 #13 May 3, 2004 I'm betting that Spidey rakes in the most cash this summer. Spiderman 3 is already being wrote and is scheduled for a May 2007 release. Not bad for a movie that is'nt even wrote yet Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

quade 4 #15 May 3, 2004 Uh, I dunno. It's going to be pretty freekin' difficult to beat "The Passion" as far as boxoffice goes, but the history of this year has yet to be written. Right now, the movie I'm tracking with the highest 4 week boxoffice potential is . . . "Harry Potter" 3 . . . tracking right now at about $100M. Seems pretty solid to me considering the build-in audience base and lack of kid friendly films. There are others that believe "Day After Tomorrow" -could do as much as $150Mish, but I think they're off -- way off. I just don't think there's that much wide appeal for this one. By contrast, most people believe "I, Robot" will do about $66Mish in it's first 4 weeks. If you're really into movie boxoffice stuff, you might wanna check out http://hsx.com/. It's kind of the Hollywood version of Fantasy Football.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
Chizazz 0 #16 May 3, 2004 I think that Troy's gonna do the best
quade 4 #17 May 3, 2004 Yeah, "Troy" is tracking pretty high, $178Mish, but I also think that's unrealistic.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
colintri 0 #18 May 3, 2004 Oh, Mr.Octopus' the arch-rival of Spiderman this time. Whoo-whoo. I'd rather pay the full price of a ticket when Spiderman takes Venom on!!! That'd be an interesting challenge for the filmmakers. Whoops, I didn't mean to sound like a comic nerd.
tunaplanet 0 #19 May 3, 2004 LOL, if they put Venom in it (which they most likely will) they would have to make it rated R if they go by the original comic books. Venom was pretty gruesome. Forty-two

That'd be an interesting challenge for the filmmakers. Whoops, I didn't mean to sound like a comic nerd. Unless they stripped him of his license to practice, I believe his name is DOCTOR Octopus. I always hated the Venom storyline in the comics. Honestly, Venom had Spiderman outclassed, and should really have kicked his ass. For similar reasons, I don't understand how they could ever do a "Superman v. Batman" series (Superman would make Batman into a grease spot); nor how they could have made a movie (coming soon) about combat between "Alien v. Predator." Come ON. Humans killed Aliens by the score in the various Alien movies. And the Predator is an expert killer! What kind of lopsided-ass fight will this be?! --Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind...
