Does anyone know how to get from Oregon to Ontario and back with $150-$200? I doubt it, but it's definately worth the try. Damnit I wish I wasn't broke!

GO GREYHOUND. It ain't glamourous, but it works.

BIG HINT: Check for EXPRESS routes. I rolled from PA to Toronto (admittedly a shorter trip) express and got there almost as fast as if I'd driven myself.

Warning or Teaser: (depending on how you look at it) the people you meet on long-distance busses live up to EVERY bit of their reputation.

$238 via greyhound, not too shabby, it's a 3 day trip though

Even Greyhound will likely push above $200.00, and it will take at least 5 days to get there.

Amtrak doesn't seem to run into canada. And if I remember correctly, travelling by train is even more expensive than bus??

Amtrak runs NY to Montreal, but its dammmmmmm slow and not cheap.
