rehmwa 2 #33 April 13, 2004 QuoteWhat's a return? I owe for 01, 02 and now 03.. I'm not doing something right. Maybe next year. You are doing something right. I'm confused at the people here who loaned the government the price of an entire rig for the year and are happy about it. I wonder how many realize that they have a new rig this year that they could have bought last year.... ... Sheenster303 0 #42 April 13, 2004 Got mine back in February! 1400 dollars baby! Not too bad for a poor college student working at a grocery store. (And no, I do not have children, so no deductions there.) Saved it and now I'm using it to complete AFF! Woohoo! Now.......I just need to figure out how I'm gonna pay for skydiving after AFF. Only time will tell...........I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #

freeflygoddess 0 #49 April 13, 2004 QuoteI got back enough to buy a new Voodoo and still have LOTS left over. I got one heck of a tax return since this is the first year in MANY that I have been able to claim my son as a dependant. Why didn't you spend it doing something with your son? Just a question... I still have yet to hear if I am getting my return, they are holding it since my ex claimed me and both of our kids on his taxes...he was only alowed one of them. They withheld it because he filed first, so he got all of his, and what I should have gotten. So I had to send in copies of our divorce papers and poof that we didn't live together at all in 2003 and proff that both kids lived with me....doesn't it suck to do what you are suppose to only to find out that since I filed second I get all the blame. I doubt they give me my return, until they take it all back from him or whatever....stupid IRS.
