What's your five?

I have never enjoyed watching the same movies over and over because I feel like I am missing out on those quality films that I have not yet seen. I tend to like indepedent, obscure, artsy or foreign films, however, these are some more mainstream ones that I enjoy...

You really should check out "The Big Blue" sometimes. It's directed by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element, The Professional). It also has Jean-Marc Barr and Jean Reno. This one is very unique because the cinematography is absolutely stunning and breath-taking along the coast of Greece and Italy. If you're a nature person, you can't go wrong with this movie.

5. Ricky-O

Yes, but "Vanilla Sky" is the remake of a movie by called "Open Your Eyes" (Abre Los Ojos) written & directed by Alejandro Amenábar, who also wrote/directed "The Others" (another fabulous film). I recommend watching both.

jean michelle basquiat is my absolutely favorite artist...

Yes, Basquiat was amazing, and I love YOUR artwork (very cool), too, Yoshi. Where did you study? I graduated from Otis Parsons with a BFA in Apparel Design, but, of course, my foundation year was all fine arts. :)
Sorry, Andi, for the highjack...:o as you were, everyone...

1 - LOTR
2 - Highlander

Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants

That really is one of my favorite movies. Awesome cinematography, and the underwater scenes are simply incredible. Plus it's got Rosanna Arquette in a wet tank top...;)

Ok, for all of you who said FINDING NEMO...
I have to post a picture I took of my dude's "Nemo" fish. He's had two of these clownfish for a few years now, and he still hasn't seen that movie!

(Ok, I'll stop trying to hijack the thread now... sorry! :))

You know what? I don't like my 5, there are so many movies I can and do watch over and over and over and over...

There are a lot of movies I refuse to watch even once, as well, though.:P

Errol Flynn's Robin Hood
Lock, Stock and Two smoking barrels
Jaws (1st one only)
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
The Hitcher
Pink Floyd's The Wall
