(stopping at an airport in another country for a layover and never leaving the airport doesn't count - at least to me!) Are there any countries that you have no desire to return to? SarahC07 0 #3 March 25, 2004 I lived in England when I was very very little, but I went back to visit a few years ago... I liked it... I visited London and Cheltnam (where I lived) I've also visited Scotland... those people are so hard to understand... Oh but I remember waking up one morning in our hotel room and it was snowing... I'm from Texas, so snow was a BIG deal... I've also been to Italy... spent most of my time in Rome... EVERYONE and I mean everyone smokes... I'm not a smoker, so all the smoke kinda got to me, that and quite often, random men will hit on you as they pass you walking on the street.... kinda weird... but I would go back in a heart beat... we visited Florence and Capri... WOW- Capris is such a beautiful island... I wouldn't mind living there! Also been to Greece... we cruised over night on a ship from Italy to Greece, so we woke up early (on the ship) to see the Greek Isles around 7:30- 8 am... so pretty! I didn't spend all that much time in Greece, but I had fun... WOW, I've seen a lot for someone my age... I guess I never really realized how lucky I am... Lainey 0 #5 March 25, 2004 I've lived in Australia my entire life but my family are Irish so i've been to Ireland. I've also been to England, Singapore and the US. Although i don't remember much of England or Singapore as I was quite young. I'd love to head back to Europe and the States, to see it all on my own, not have to follow anyone else around. wingnut 0 #17 March 25, 2004 okay i'm from ohio in the good ole u.s. of a....... and contries i have traveled to..... germany ( sehr toll und schon) switzerland (french and german speaking parts) france (just eastern parts) belgium ( pretty country) the netherlands ( amstel sure taseted good there) austria (best snowbording ever there) lichtenstien ( almost got guns pointed at me atthe boarder crossing) isreal ( didn't really get to se much) canada ( newfoundland and way up near goose bay) luxembourg ( this country is absofuckinglutly awsome) and so yes i did live in germay for 2.5 years so that made it very easy to get to alot of the contires.. heck belgium, france, luxembourg and the netherlands were all only 45 minutes away..... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version" Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
