Just sold my computer on ebay for 600 bucks. That plus the 720 I had from working like a slave over spring break gives me the cash I need to do AFF! Just thought I'd tell everyone cause I'm pretty happy right now.

Now what am I going to cell when it comes time to buy gear

Nice work! Already selling off that kinda stuff to get jumps eh? I sold some stuff two summers ago to get jump money too... I'm in the process of getting it back slowly, but jumping and gear still comes first. Welcome to the realisation of being an addict.

make sure you have a little "emergency" cash to tap in to, should you have to pay for retaking a level.

That's awesome. I've just started AFF, I am slowly getting the money as I do the course. I thought It'd be heaps cheaper after AFF, but then I found out about B-rels, and then getting my A licence, not to mention the price of a rig! Ugh. Looks like I'm going to be poor for a long long time!
I've looked around for things to sell, but I can't find anything! I sold 57 cds already, I have about 150 left, so maybe I'll sell some of them. Hell, I'd do anything to be able to afford this, so yeah, I'll be selling more cds soon, but other than that I have nothing of any value to anyone!

Dude, that's too funny! I started a thread a few months back about how people sraped up cash to jump/buy gear etc....I too have been selling stuff on ebay like a maniac to jump!!!! One step closer with each sale....Congrats!!! Now go jump!!!!

I have 1300 which at Skydive New England is enough for a college student to do AFF with two extra jumps, so I can repeat two levels and still be cool. After that I'm screwed :)

so learn to pack, pack for jumps.
after that you'll be able to pack fast = more jumps per day

learn to pack fast when your packing for jumps = more pack jobs in a day, not necessarily more jumps where I'm from
