AggieDave 6 #1 March 30, 2004 Yup, I'm going in to lay a few tracks down with acoustic guitar and vocals. Just stuff I've written and one I didn't (Plastic Jesus). Whats really cool, is its a recording studio that a pro-musician skydiver put together in his house. To top that off, he's letting me do it cheap (read: free). How much cooler can it be? So, once I've got the tracks down and I'm back to my computer, I'll rip it into MP3s and post them somewhere for anyone that really cares.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." WrongWay 0 #2 March 30, 2004 Dude, studio time is fun!! I did a couple studio sessions a last year and a couple years ago with different bands. It's really weird hearing yourself with such quality, but it's really cool. Wrong Way D #27371 Mal Manera Rodriguez Cajun Chicken Ø Hellfish #451 The wiser wolf prevails. lawrocket 3 #3 March 30, 2004 Awesome! Recording studios are fun and difficult. Biggest thing from people in them is getting nervous. Let it happen, and see where your sogn goes. it'll sound great and be fun. Let me know where I can get your CD when it comes out. My wife is hotter than your wife. SkymonkeyONE 4 #6 March 30, 2004 That sounds really fun, Dave! I am always excited to hear about things that actual skydivers are doing. You know, the kind of stuff you would hear around the fire at your dropzone. These are the threads that Talkback used to have back in the day.
Antithesis 0 #7 March 30, 2004 Congrats Dave, That's awesome!! I've been in a few studios but mostly do my stuff from home now for my own entertainment. I can't wait to hear what you got. I travel the land, Work in the ocean, Play in the sky
weegegirl 2 #8 March 30, 2004 That's so cool!!! How long have you been playing?? I still think we all need to get together and make a dz.com band! Can't wait to hear, Dave!!!
 AggieDave 6 #9 March 30, 2004 I've only been playing guitar for a bit over a year, but that's what I'm getting recorded on this time around. I've made recording before, but it was all jazz stuff on my horn with the band. It was definately fun, though. We could definately get a DZ.com band together, there are a lot of musicians on the boards here. I know we have enough for a nice jazz combo, enough for another combo in a rock fasion and then some. Now if only we had someone that played the lap steel and a fiddle.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
