chopchop 0 #1 April 5, 2004 I'll start... :16:1 My weekend started Friday.. got 4 jumps in Friday afternoon and a couple of night jumps.. Saturday and Sunday were kinda slow for me as I was working on learning to do tandem videos and had to get on the right loads for that. I owe beer for my first paid skydives. Also had a nice 10-way hybrid Saturday sunset load and a cool Connie's b-day speed star on Friday sunset load. Great weekend! Oh.. and Connie's b-day party was mucho fun. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Lotsa Pictures

kelel01 1 #3 April 5, 2004 0:1:0 Only one jump due to winds that were higher than I was comfortable with under a 190 . . . Question: is it typical to do night jumps for daylight savings time, or is it just because there was a full moon in April (as in, not so cold)? B/c lots of DZ's were doing them this past weekend (mine included). I love watching them! Gotta partake soon! Kelly
Nightingale 0 #4 April 5, 2004 :0:0 no jumps. went to Perris on saturday, but didn't want to do hop n pops. I'd rather pay the extra $6 next week for a jump to altitude, or save some cash for the tunnel.
lizzieb 0 #5 April 5, 2004 Finally went jumping this weekend down in Hollister. 1 4-way belly jump and 1 2-way freefly...it was a blast and i realized why i love skydiving so much. i don't think i'm going to go back to jumping every weekend, but i won't sit out for 3 months again! I guess I owe beer because these were my first jumps of 2004!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ryand96 0 #6 April 5, 2004 0:2:0 Got out to the DZ late on Sunday and had to wait a while. The one cessna was tied up with tandems. Got 2 great jumps in late. A three way and a four way. Lots of fun challenging points. Can't wait till the big plane arrives.

TribalTalon 0 #9 April 5, 2004 :4:0 3 CRW jumps, and a belly jump just screwing around. made some stacks, worked on transitions, did a couple downplanes, had a fun weekend. did manage to tweak my knee pretty good on one of the downplanes. oh, also tried to do a mr. bill but Doc had an unusally hard opening and i just couldnt hold on, and then i had a slammer of an opening myself. so 2 hard openings in one jump. haha. after that i was pretty beat up and called it quits. Jumpervint 0 #10 April 5, 2004 :3:0 We had safety day yesterday, because March is not jumping weather in our area. Had a great day at a relaxed pace. The last jump was a 10 point 4 way. Could have made one more jump, but I wanted to savor the 4 way and save my money for later in the month when money gets tight. Vint. . . . . "Make it hard again." AntiPinkChrissy 0 #11 April 5, 2004 :1:1 We had funky winds on Saturday so I only made one jump and Sunday was cold and very windy. BUT, the one jump I made on Saturday was my first camera jump! BEER! I even hit record and had the other jumper centered the whole time...although I could have been closer. ~La La Gang Member #2~
Unstable 9 #12 April 5, 2004 0:5:1 I spent most of my jumps throwing Mock Static Line students, Instructors mostly. Not on any real student Rigs, just with the SL rubberbanded to their harness. Pretty much an eye-opening experience for me, I had one "Student" almost work the door open with his knee, one student kept repeatedly fidgeting with the hook and unhooked himself 4 or 5 times, one "student" kept trying to discreatly tye his SL around the Pilot's leg or seatbelt, and the pilot faked and engine failure. I'm learning a lot about throwing SL, and I think the instructors I am practicing on are enjoying giving me a hard time...=========Shaun ==========
sdgregory 0 #13 April 5, 2004 Somebody please remind me what each number stands for. ?:1:? I got one jump in and then the winds got too unpredictable. 14-18 mile sustained depending on the time of day with gusts up to 25 all day. 14-18 I do not mind but with my big gorilla of a canopy and my wing loading landing in a sudden 20-25 mile and hour gust have been an exercise in reverse landings. Pulled him straight out of our 4 way. Saturday some funjumps and tandemvideos, and Sunday full on on the wheel, 6 tandem videos and a 3 way FF to end the day (and weekend)
