capfpg 0 #1 July 22, 2010 A helmet question. I´m using a full face mamba for rw and some time ago I started using it with a gopro on the top with an adhesive mount with great results, but I´m a little concerned about having problems in the opening without a quick release system, so I´ve decided to change the camera position to the front. The question is, where would be the best place to drill a couple of holes?, the forehead piece or directly the top of the screen (I´ve seen the last). Thanks. Most people are more concerned about you, your jump numbers and jumping with a camera. A camera is not about size, weight.....
capfpg 0 #3 July 22, 2010 Sorry, I hadn´t updated the profile for two years. Obviously someone with 30 jumps shouldn´t be jumping a camera (not even thinking about it). Blue skies.
skyjumpenfool 2 #4 July 23, 2010 200.... nice round number?? Anyway, the best way to deal with a snag point is to eliminate it in advance. Maybe make a cover that will help eliminate any snag points? I was once told by a very expeienced camera flyer... "It's hard to cutaway a helmet with a broken neck"! Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."
