Favorite SNL cast member

Recommended Posts

I agree that Will Ferrell is a crack up, but he takes his clothes off too much... eww. I haven't seen SNL in a while so I don't know if this is the case or even if he's still on there. Maybe I ought to stay up tonight and catch up. My all time favorite is Adam Sandler. I'll never forget when he did Heavy Man Man on the news. I never laughed so hard.

Nobody beats all the "Not Ready for Primetime Players" The whole original cast was pure magic.:)------------------------------------------------------------
Fully agree with dzdiva! none of the later casts come close to the original crew! Belushi and Aykroyd are my all time favorites! They made a great team! :)

Thats a damn tough call. Either Farley or Farrell.

But you know who I always hope to see? There is a character that comes out to mess up the host's monologue. He has a mustache and a spanish accent and has a set of bongos or something. His catch line after insulting someone is "I'm just kidding", but he says it in a funny way. Last time I saw it was when John McCain was hosting and he even got McCain to do the "I'm just kidding" bit. Hilarious stuff.

Anybody know who I'm talking about?

Belushi. I would absolutely laugh my a** off anytime he'd imitate Joe Cocker, singing lead with "Howard Shore And His All-Bee Band." Or any episode of "Samurai Delicatessen." :D

Two other favorites were Henson's puppets and Father Guido Sarducci.

And Jane Curtin was great, but you missed her. But I am glad you *omitted* Piscopo. :)

I voted for Eddie Murphy.

"Wookin' pa nub in all da wong places..." B|

But I used to really love when Will and Cheri did their cheerleader bit. That always cracked me up.

My name is Suzanne-a-Rosanna-Danna-Gilda Radner
I love Mr. Bill too OH NOOOOO! Especially the episode where spot becomes the Christams Tree Star. I am in agreement with many others on this poll though, it is so hard to pick just one cast member. Eddie Murphy, John Belushi(CHEESEBURGER-CHEESEBURGER-CHEESEBURGER!) Dan Akroyd, Chris Farley, Adam S., Dana C., Mike M. Hell we would live in a really different world without any of them. I loved that show!-Caress
I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being
right.

In this current cast? Head Writer and Weekend Update Anchor, Tina Fey.

Of all time? Geeze that's a tough one, but probably Dan Aykroyd.

I definitely like the two-anchor weekend update, Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey are pretty good but Fallon laughs too much. Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin did it beautifully
