I have heard of tandum but he was actually claming to put a chute on a dog and the dog jumps (via static line) on it's own free will. I know in wwII era they did dog tandums when they used german sheaperds for war, the dog would tandum with the para-trooper...
cute dog btw.... how did you rig the harness?

There is a guy that jumps with his dog, a daschound (sp?). I remember seeing it on the news a couple years ago. Anyone know who or what I'm talking about? I'd sure like to see that in person.

I don't think our dog would like it if we took him jumping. He'd probably shit all over the place. LOL. Now the cat, that's another story. Crazy cat jumps up and down off the top of the cabinets all the time. She'll jump at you from nowhere and scare ya when you walk by while she's up on top of the cabinets. I should try and find a rig for her. LOL

Anyway, when it's raining and cloudy as happens often in Vancouver >:( I gotta lots of stuff happening so I don't go nuts with all the rain that's been coming down. Skydiving is just one of my many interests so it isn't like I'm itching to get to the dz. ;) Bet there's lots of people out there today, but I gotta work.

Go shooting instead...

Or get creative. On a windy day once in Florida, we hooked up an old 50 foot round cargo chute to a 4'x8' sheet of plywood, complete with a riser release mechanism for emergency stops. We could pile about four people on that piece of plywood, bobsled fashion, as it scooted along through the fields at 20 mph, with grass and dirt flying everywhere.

I'm currently packing up my apartment to move back home till I find a job. Going searching in FL in a few weeks. Can't wait to spend cloudy days there instead of OH. At least when the clouds pass in FL, there is hope of jumpin. We have no planes that fly consistently during the week and most of the time the weather is for shit.

I hate cloudy days
