damn its hard to take a pic of your own ass...

Recommended Posts

Ok so technically its not my ass, its my lower back, but hell its still hard to take a one handed pick from the backside.:S:D

Its Spring Break and I have nothing better to do with my time so I finally got my new tattoo. Its still healing and will need some touchups later but I'm enjoying it. People at the studio were impressed with my results and I have to go back in a few weeks after its healed so that the artist can have a pic of it for his portfolio since it turned out nicely.:)
The design was created by Pat Fish of Santa Barbara, CA who is said to be the leading artist for celtic tattooing.I couldn't have her do the actual inkwork b/c she had a pretty extensive waiting list and I wasn't going to be in CA any time soon.:S

So heres my new art...

Nice tat!!! If you ever need any help....I come cheap...Free even for any photography that involves women's bare skin. ;)

aka Clay the Cheap Male Slut :P

Love the color blue - do you know what the name of that ink was? I may need to use it on my next tat

Well, it is kinda hard to apply moisturizing lotion to it several times a day. I'm taking applications for assistance for the next few weeks as it heals.:)

Very nice tat Amber!! I like the little heart hidden in the bottom of it also. The color is so vibrant - very cool!!

Clay, you are a slut ;)! But a nice one B|. I feel like I missed something by leaving so early.

There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear.

PMS #227 (just like the TV show)

I was just discussing this with someone else earlier. The heart woven/hidden in the design came out a bit darker than I'd expected. Depending on how the ink sets/lightens as it heals I might go back and get it touched up a bit so that the heart is more noticeable.:):)

I'm single........I can be a slut OR NOT....all I want. ;) If I was really a slut I would have taken that chick home from the bar St Patty's day! ;) Ask Val about it. :D

I heard that you were busy when I first showed up! ;)

Bad girl! Neosporin, not lotion! ;)

I may be a bad girl, yes, but you're wrong. As per instructions on Pat Fish's website:

"Use UNSCENTED good quality hand lotion frequently and sparingly....Believe me, I KNOW that you are going to have friends tell you to use Neosporin or Bacitracin. Don't do it. They are antibiotics, and they have no healing value unless there is infection present. You will need them if you introduce dirt or germs into the tattoo, but for normal healing you want a moisturizer.... "

:P:P:P

As for my thought-provoking title...hey, it made people think about my ass didnt it?>:(;):P

That's an awesome tat Amber! I like it! I would fly down there for the lotion application position (seriously) since I was talking about flying down anyway. But with the whole new sister thing, I'm gonna be busy. I'm driving back up to Canada next week for 2-3 weeks, she's getting married!

Again, Beautiful Tat!

I laugh everytime I hear someone say NOT to use neosporin. For the first 2 days only ... you SHOULD use it. After that, go to lotion. People make the mistake of using it for too long and/or using to much (gobbing it on) and it pulls the ink out and this is why tattoo artists say NOT to use it ( because people are clueless and ruin their ink ), but if used CORRECTLY, its the best thing for it. I have used it on both my tattoos which are considerably large, and they have come out beautifly.

Anyways, nice tattoo, looks very clean! Post some better pics! B|

Eh, I was just going by the artist's recommendations since she has 20+ years of experience w/tattoos and I have next to none. Either way, the tat is several days old now and the lotion is working beautifully.:)

I'd post more pics but they wouldnt be any better than the one already posted.Like I said, its hard to take a pic of your own backside.;)

:o--you have done the impossible!!
(taking one handed pic)

-absolutely gorgeous tat- you deserve to be so proud B|B|B|
-you have excellent taste.

Looking forward to seeing a pic (two handed) when it has completely healed..skin color is the hardest to get on film. Was messing with a 6 mp digital cannon rebel today (best output I've ever seen)

For my pic of my back tat I added depth to skin color in photoshop (attached)....cheat cheat cheat..

I took your image and gave a try at just using a skin color background in my flash program-I boobed on trying to outline heart and couldn't match color.

SMiles;)
