EricaH 0 #27 March 24, 2004 I'm O- also! Yea!!! This rocks - & didn't think there were that many of us out there. Esp since O- can ONLY recieve O- blood, there's no leaway w/ other types. I've tried to donate 8 times, 4 times my iron was too low, the other 4, they could only get 1/2 a bag outta me... collapsed both arm veins . I had a long thin dark bruise all up & down both forearms. Hoot 0 #29 March 24, 2004 I feel bad every time the Red Cross calls and I say I can't come in, it is like they are saying "you lazy ASS, you would rather watch TV than save a life". I wonder if the Red Cross has a list of who declined to come in when asked? I can see it now I'm going to need blood and the doctor is going to smile and tell me that they could help me out but the donor is watching American Idol!!
