skydiverbc 0 #1 March 22, 2004 With my father , on our daily excursions of father / daughter quality time.... when all of a sudden , i stop my wrangler right in front of a Ducati Dealer.... my father although cannot believe his eyes when i sit down with the salesman, give over my info, wait an hour or so.... and voila.... instant ala ducati for me so being a sunny day, i take it for a test spin to break her in .... and i get stopped... not even 3 hours after i owned her....stopped the bike off came the helmet... and his jaw dropped.... my thought : is it so abnormal for a girl , such as moi, to have a 900 cc bike? or was it just that i am just that damn cute....lol I am so full of myself.. needless to say, i got off with a warning to slow down.
 freeflygoddess 0 #2 March 22, 2004 Nice, Congrats on the new purchase, and the warning...was the cop at least cute? I want a bike too, since you are alound to split traffic in California and use the HOV lanes...what I would give to not have to sit for hours on the freeways.
 skydiverbc 0 #3 March 22, 2004 yeah he was fairly cute.. should of asked him for some sort of identification from him.....hahahaha
 freefaller2001 0 #4 March 22, 2004 ahh girls & bikes - such a sexy combo in my opinion! Well it is here in the uk - except when it rains, (all the waterproof gear does nothing for your figure!) However, come summer time, I go on many cruises down to the coast lines, guys, girls it's like a boogie, but for bikers - fantastic feeling, very relaxing and invigorating at the same time No wonder he let you go... the biker cops over here are a lot less strict on us bikers... but because I'm a guy... I have to use all my Hugh Grant charm that I can - it worked that time (only doing 95), but it wouldn't have if I was caught doing in excess of 130... If I can't jump, I'm on my bike - it comes a close second to skydiving for me. It also looks damned cool turning up to a DZ on a nice Kawasaki (my bike) or something else exotic (Ducatti's are far too expensive over here ) It's also nice to know that I've spent under £10,000 for the same performance that you would need to spend £50,000+ in car. Enjoy the riding!! Just keep the speeding for 3am - that's what I do!
 skydiverbc 0 #5 March 22, 2004 ahhhhh yes , my trip to the UK next year will be awesome... going to see the sites and really want to go see stone henge. although i do agree with you ducati is an expensive bike... it fit my personality though...:) nice, sleek, and oooooo so sexy[:D]
 freefaller2001 0 #6 March 22, 2004 Cool - enjoy yourself over here - hope the weather holds for you!
