2004 Formula1 champion ??

Recommended Posts

Schumi.

He ain't looking any worse than last year and his car is running ok.

I'm hoping for Raikonnen though.

Or maybe Sato the Madman, That dude goes full out or nothing - refreshing to see :D

They do have more than one, don't they?

Actually, new rules for 2004 require the same engine for practice and the whole weekend. So, in a way, Schumacher and Baricello each have "one" car.

It's gonna be an interesting year.
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

Mike...he has another desire for a big PUSH to the top. >Being "today's News" again, gives the strength of his desire.

That's great too. I hope my son grows to enjoy (2nd)F1 auto and (1st)GP motocycle racing (I started riding when I was 4 years old):)
I'm buying him a 40m.p.h. gp mini bike. He is 2 yrs old now and in 2 years he'll be ready. He rides electric dirt bike now.:)

Michael.

The others still need to learn the lesson

"to finish first, you must first finish."

I think the one engine rule favours Ferrari.
As for those that think the season is boring with Ferrari always winning, that's the fault of the other teams. They're the ones who need to go faster, fuck up less and break less often.

so... might be early but that's when it's funny...
who do you think will be the champ this year ???

While it is early to take a educated guess at the 04 champion...M. Schumacher would be the smart pick.

Schumi is looking great as always!...and the Ferrari is running a tad better than ok....Ferrari usually(well the last few years) dosent bring out the new model untill after a few races...this year the new model was out for the 1st race...seems to me that they are in a better position this year compared to the last few years.

While you are correct on the engine rule...there is still a extra T (team) car....if a major failure or wreck happens the T car can be used or if a wreck and red flag on start ...again the T car can be used.

only a fool would argue with that;)

I think the one engine rule favors the sport as a whole.

While I do agree that the other teams need to meet the standards being set by Ferarri and Schumi(Barichello is no slouch either)it does not negate the fact that seeing one driver walk away from the field every race is somewhat boring....I'd invert the field and burn the blue flagsB|.

This new season has had a few suprises already....WoW..Webber and Jag taking the outside pole....damn lucky there wast a red flag for a massive wreck on that start:|....fast driver and something unexpected from the Jag(well being on the outside pole).....How about Button and BAR?....3rd..again WoW..and wasnt launch control banned this year?....those Renaults make it look like it wasnt....too bad for stupid strat decissions.

Hopefully Williams will have something for Ferarri soon.....Montoya had a chance today if the track had stayed semi damp or if Schumi had made a mistake(lmao....not likely)....I think Ralph needs to shake his head and get up there to challange his older brother.....Coulthart and Raikonnen are fighting with a substandard car again this year[:/]

I was talking to some Georgia redneck this weekend, and he asked me about Nascar. I told him I didn't pay much attention to it. He thought that meant I didn't pay much attention to anything. :S

After insulting me (a person he knew for about 45 seconds), he tried convincing me Nascar is the fine wine of all racing. I made it a point to correct him, that Nascar is the bud light of racing. It is popular with the most Americans, so it is probably boring and uninspired, but has a good marketing campaigns (just like Bud Light).

F1 on the other hand, has every bit of thrill and competition involved in good racing. Sorry, but I can't get excited about guys turning left all day.

Oh, and of course he was carrying a case of bud light, not fine wine. :P

R. Barichello will always play second fiddle to MSchumacher unless ordered otherwise by Ferrari

J.P. Montoya is too arrogant and tends to get himself into trouble on track.

K. Raikonnen has a McLaren which won't be able to compete for third places untill a quarter of the season has gone already

D. Coulthard still has problem with his qualifying, despite pre-season psyco-analytic assistance

R. Schumacher has trouble with consistency. If the car doesn't self destruct, he will.

Trulli & Alonso - the car loves the straights but hates twisty corners. Shame then that most of the tracks have them.

Webber - Maybe when he gets a top drive place next year

J Button - Expends too much energy shagging his "pop-star" girlfriend to race competitively the following day. Podeum places if he's lucky.

Yeah. It's really me.;) Promise.

I like to keep up to date with the F1 news, but not really on who's shagging who. Ever since I saw Mika in tears behind the bushes, I've tried to stick to the results rather than the gossip...
