velo90 0 #28 March 22, 2004 Sat 10:30 am to 15:30 in a coach from Prachuap to Bangkok. then a 2 hour flight to Kuala Lumpur and wait 4 hours for the connecting flight. Then a 13 hour flight from Kuala Lumpur to frankfurt. Then a 2 hour car journey to get home. I'm shattered It was worth it though for all the Herc jumps, plus a few BT 67 jumps, plus a helicopter jump My thoughts are with those who did not make it back home. nael 0 #30 March 22, 2004 I had a crazy full weekend, saturday I spent the day at Coastal Patrol which I have just joined so it was my first day there, and I got to drive a boat and talk on the radio to all the ships, and saturday night I had a big one (on a $20 budget!) and ended up getting home at 4:30am, then got up at 6:30am to be at Daves (neoteng) house by 7:30am to go to the dz. I cant afford to jump yet, so I was just gonna watch everyone else, which suited me fine after 2 hours sleep. When I got home from the dz, a guy i met about 2 months ago when I was on holidays arrived in sydney and suprised me, which sorta sucked at the same time, cause I was hella tired, so we went out all afternoon, and finally at the end of the day I got some sleep. Plus, on saturday night I met a nice guy who just might be nice enough to spend some more time with, but i'll have to wait and see on that one!www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

It just keeps on getting better. Jumping was not an option!!! Crappy weather. -------------------------------------------------- Just remember.....if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off. bbarnhouse 0 #36 March 22, 2004 I had the most excellent fortune of being able to spend time with Joe Jennings (even if he did miss the tram on the jump with Gasson) As one who isn't impressed easily, I can say with all sincerity that I stood in the presence of greatness. Not because of his film making nor his flying ability, but rather the fact that he is a wonderful human being. His generosity of spirit and kindness served to raise the bar. He is truly a humble champion.
froglady 0 #37 March 22, 2004 Worked a half day Saturday, kept calling the awas to make sure knowone else was getting to jump. Drove down to the DZ in the afternoon to cook dinner for the Brian Germain canopy seminar participants. Sunday decided I needed some exercise, hiked Old Rag, very tough but worth while hike. rehmwa 2 #40 March 22, 2004 Sunday - finally got to jump, haven't been out since December - Can't wait for the season to get going. (Saturday winds at altitude were over 100 MPH, movies and reading, family time there....) ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants

We had a very good time visiting and hanging out, my mother hadn't seen my son in two years, though I get thru there every other month or so while working. They're in the middle of Illinois largest Amish community and its a rather small town and very quite, such a nice change. We're home now and I go back to work tomorrow, time to get those 18 wheels a rolling!
