Lynn and I got in two jumps already, the sky is clear blue and the winds are light and variable, a beautiful day indeed. The only sour note is that our own Skymama got hurt on the first jump of the day. Not seriously, but she is sitting on a couch by manifest with her ice on her sprained right ankle. She refused medication but is having to cope with crutches. I'll let her tell her story later -- first person reports are always best. Da Bytch went home about 0930 to "take a shower and a nap. I'll be back by noon." Sure, Lisa! Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them? We survived, we had explosives, we had jello shots, we had beach jumps, we had shishkabobs, we had a fire that was too big and needed a little hosing to save our palm tree, the djs were great and played until I made them shut down because I was their ride home and I wanted to go damn it, the police were there twice to ask us to turn down the music. It was a very good time. Thanks to everyone who turned out and sat through our half a day of crap weather on Saturday. We never did our hit & chug so we'll save it for another weekend. We never got our dz.com picture. I do have some pictures to post but I'm so tired right now that I'm going to go home and sleep the sleep of the dead.
