glgflyer 0 #1 August 5, 2010 Is there a designated right and left riser when you buy a set of risers, or does it matter as long as the rsl ring is on the correct side? More specifically, if I have a set of risers on a rig with the RSL on the right side, can I use these risers on a rig that has the RSL on the left side by just simply swapping sides with the risers or should the right side always be the right side and the left always the left? Slurp56 0 #3 August 5, 2010 Quote the risers can be switched The problem you run into with switching risers is the RSL ring mounting location. Some RSL rings are located near the center of the riser and some RSL rings are mounted inboard or outboard on the riser. This can create a problem when swapping left to right.________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.
