ok, to hijack a dead thread, what audible do you jump with bytch?

I was thinking about picking up one from L&B only because I hear the service dept is wonderful. You're a dealer right, what have you heard?

I've got a ProTrack and a ProDytter. From my experience the customer service from L&B is the best in any industry - they take very, very good care of both their dealers and their customers.

I'll second that. They're awesome. I've dealt with the office overseas and a service person here in the states. Both were incredibly fast and definitely more than fair. I'll buy more from them as soon as I can afford to.;)

Me too. A friend of mine once lost his ProDytter during a skydive and L & B not only replaced it for free but actually upgraded it to a ProTrack. Not saying that's the sort of thing they'd make a habit of, but it does go to show that they're way ahead of many dealers when it comes to after sales service. They also offer free replacement batteries, and the first time mine ran down they were surprised it had happened so quickly and offered to take the unit back for testing. Other manufacturers take note - this is how it should be done!

I heard of them replacing some a while back wen the little plastic holders were cracking.
Not so much anymore, the cover thier rears by delivering them with two little black rubber bands now.

BTW Mads Larsen is the BOMB!!!!

It's not very smart, I know ... but I like jumping without
a helmet. I've got my Pro-Track attached to goggles
with those plastic "stays" (don't know their official name).

There's a chance, of course, that the googles might
come off in freefall or deployment ... and there goes
the Pro-Track too.

Any suggestions on how to secure everything better?
(Someone has already suggested that if I'm dumb
enough to jump helmet-less, I might as well NAIL
stuff to my head.)

Got my second hand Dytter (original dytter) in the mail yesterday. Didnt come with any instructions. How do you calibrate it?

Hold the Dytter in you lef hand. Place your right thumb on the 'wheel' on the Dytter.
Turn counter clockwise slowly untill it beeps.
Stop!
Then turn clockwise slowly to set the warning altitude. Each division is 1000 feet.
It will beep at that altitude on the way up to check.
Hope that helped.;)
